RokPoluotok in Novigrad

This summer, Green Beach in Karpinjan, known for its eco-friendly design and sustainable beach certification, will host a truly special event for families and young adventurers – RokPoluotok (“RokPeninsula”, named after the Croatian word for peninsula).

Children from Novigrad will have the chance to learn how to protect the environment, appreciate real-world friendships, and enjoy time away from screens – with plenty of laughter, games, and sea breeze. The programme is completely free, with all materials provided by the organisers. All your child needs is a cap, a bottle of water, and a curious spirit.

On Friday 4 July, at around 10:00 AM, Domagoj Jakopović Ribafish – beloved educator, adventurer and founder of the RokOtok initiative – will arrive by sea, marking the start of a day packed with hands-on learning, playful exploration, and outdoor fun with a purpose. Join him on the beach, greet him with a smile, and give your kids an experience they’ll never forget.

Here’s what awaits:

RokPoluotok is the exciting new chapter of the acclaimed RokOtok project, which has already inspired thousands of children across Croatia through its focus on ecology, education and outdoor play. In the summer of 2025, Ribafish will swim over 100 kilometres, from Pula to Savudrija, stopping at 18 coastal locations, including Novigrad - Cittanova. At every stop, he’ll run interactive workshops for kids and parents, encouraging quality time, environmental awareness and positive life values.
