15th International Festival of Arts - ARTERIA

The theme of the 15th edition of the Novigrad art festival is DIVINO — a play on words that combines the English word for divine with the Croatian word for wine. Arteria invites you to an unforgettable experience where history, art, and pleasure intertwine.

Istria has always been known as a wine region, with vineyards growing here since ancient times, telling stories of fertility, prosperity, and divinity. This year, the Arteria festival connects these rich traditions with contemporary art and invites you to explore how wine, as a symbol, transcends centuries and connects people through various cultural and creative expressions.

Inspired by the local environment, festival participants use wine as a medium for expression, opening up important questions: How can we preserve nature through art? How can our cultural heritage adapt to contemporary challenges? Or simply — how to celebrate the beauty of wine and the landscape in which it is created?

Arteria brings a diverse program of artists from across Europe, including Barena Bianca, Tomislav Brajnović, Đanino Božić, Selin Davasse, Rui Miguel Leitão Ferreira, Sara Graorac, Hanakam & Schuller, Nuša Hauser, KID KIBLA, William Mackrell, Davor Sanvincenti, Agnese Sanvito, and Dragana Sapanjoš. They all bring unique perspectives and approaches, creating a platform for conversation, reflection, and creative exchange.
