Novigrad's most important celebration, the Feast of St. Pelagius, taking place from 28 to 30 August, will bring locals and visitors a spectacular music programme featuring around ten concerts from Friday to Sunday at attractive venues across the town. The festivities will be accompanied by a rich selection of food and drinks at stands along the harbour, as well as traditional games that are already attracting plenty of interest among locals.

As in previous years, the Novigrad Festival will continue long into the night, delighting everyone who enjoys great entertainment and good company. Novigrad regularly hosts big names from the Croatian music scene, with entertainment lasting late into the night.
Both domestic and international visitors can indulge in a rich culinary experience at the food stalls lining the charming town port of Novigrad, Mandrač, and Porporela. On Sunday at midnight, the sky above Novigrad will be illuminated by a spectacular fireworks display. The St. Pelagius Festivity traditionally also includes a diverse sports program, featuring participation from almost all of Novigrad's sports clubs through tournaments and sporting events on city grounds.
On the actual City Day and the day of the patron saint, August 28th, a solemn concelebrated Holy Mass and a procession with the relics of Saint Pelagius will take place.
