The start of the trip is in the tourist resort of Katoro, from where you turn left onto the main road. Continue through Zambratija and Bašanija, where you must be careful of the traffic. When you enter Bašanija, (after about 3.7 km), turn left in the direction of the sea where you will soon see a view of the oldest working lighthouse on the Adriatic. Continue along the coast road, then return to the main road. Turn left here and then, at about 6.9 km, turn onto the minor track through the fields.

At about 7.3 km you will arrive at a fork in the road, where you turn right towards the village of Alberi. Continue through the settlement of Crveni Vrh, alongside the golf course, and enter the settlement of Medigija, where, at the fork, you turn left. After a total of 14.7 km you will come to a fork where you turn right towards the village of Valica. Keep straight on until the next fork that joins the main road. Here turn left towards the village of Kmeti and continue to ride cautiously, because of the denser traffic. An ascent awaits you, to go to Sveta Marija na Krasu, from where you turn right onto the side road towards Koršija and Buščina.

At the fork in Buščina turn right and go straight on through the settlements of Farnažina and Vilanija to Petrovija. In Petrovija, turn right towards Umag, and after several tens of metres, turn right again, on to a minor road, towards the settlement of Jeca. From Jeca, continue along the macadam road for about 1 km to the asphalt road, where you turn left to go down to Umag's waterfront and the town square.

You return to Katoro following the path by the sea, going through the marina and the tourist settlements of Punta and Stella Maris.
