International Cultural Centre of the Jeunesses Musicales Croatia

The International Cultural Centre of the Jeunesses Musicales Croatia has been a meeting place of young musicians from all over the world since 1969. It has so far hosted more than 23,000 aspiring musicians and their mentors, from as many as 90 countries. It has also been organising professional workshops for dancers, architects, actors, composers, and other artists.
The Centre is an international cultural laboratory where young people from all over the world can learn and share experiences, receive top-quality education, but also enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of Grožnjan and Istria. The office and the concert hall are located in Kaštel.
Classical music virtuosos from all over the world
It’s difficult to find a Croatian musician or mentor who has not visited the Cultural Centre in Grožnjan at least once. Some of the world’s most famous classical musicians who came here include Polish composer and conductor Witold Lutosławski, Russian cellist Daniil Šafran, Italian organ professor Luigi Celeghin, Brazilian guitarist Maria Livia São Marcos, Scottish percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie, Russian violinist and music teacher Grigorij Žislin, Croatian conductor and composer Pavle Dešpalj, and many more.
From May to October, the International Cultural Centre of the Jeunesses Musicales Croatian in Grožnjan hosts workshops, seminars and conferences in music, dance, film, acting, visual arts, and architecture.
Every year Grožnjan greets musicians and artists from all over the world with a warm welcome.
