Cultural Summer of the Croatian Music Youth in Grožnjan

The International Cultural Centre of the Croatian Music Youth in Grožnjan has, since its foundation, brought together more than 23,000 young people and mentors from 90 countries. Its programs include musicians as well as artists from the fields of dance, acting, architecture, and visual arts. The Centre operates as an international cultural laboratory and a place of knowledge exchange, dedicated to promoting Grožnjan, Istria, and Croatia. Many Croatian musicians have passed through the Centre during their education, often returning later as mentors, while some of the most renowned names in classical music worldwide have also stayed and worked in Grožnjan.

The project is part of the Jeunesses Musicales International network, the world’s largest youth and music organization. Since 1969, the Centre’s goal has been to connect young people from all over the world through art, education, and the exchange of experiences. The Centre has been declared a World Meeting Centre of Musical Youth and is a member of the European network of cultural centres ACCR. Every year, from May to October, numerous workshops, seminars, and more than 50 concerts are organized as part of the Grožnjan Music Summer program.
