The legendary music icon Željko Bebek is coming to Umag's Trg Slobode on Friday, July 5!

Željko Bebek began his serious music career in 1969 with the group CODEX/Kodexi. When the group's lineup changed for the first time, guitarist Eduard "Edi" Goran Bregović joined the "story," taking over the guitar. In January 1972, the group JUTRO was formed, consisting of guitarist Goran Bregović, bassist Zoran Redžić, drummer Goran "Ipe" Ivandić, keyboardist Vlado Pravdić, and singer Željko Bebek. After releasing their first single, "KAD BI BIO BIJELO DUGME," in April 1973, the group changed its name to BIJELO DUGME.
Željko's solo career began in 1989 with the album "BEBEK NITKO VIŠE NE SANJA." Over the years, he collaborated with numerous talented musicians, and his music became known for its emotional lyrics and powerful performances. In April 2012, he released one of the most important albums in his career, "Kad poljubac pomiješaš sa vinom." In 2017, Željko Bebek returned with a new album, "Ono nešto naše," marking a new phase in his career. Accompanied by powerful concerts across the region, he remains faithful to his audience, continuing to captivate them with his authentic music.
Željko Bebek has been the happiest since 2017 when his son Zvone joined him on stage. Together, they released the single "S tobom su godine minute," which they co-wrote. In the fall of 2023, Željko celebrated 50 years of his legendary career with major concerts at Zagreb's Arena and SC Gripe in Split. The grand concert celebration and the "50 Years of Career" tour continue across Croatia, the region, and the world.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Trg Slobode in Umag, starting at 9:00 PM!
