13th Teran and Truffle Festival

This year, the popular Teran Wine and Truffle Festival is being held in a two-day edition, and the dates you must mark in your calendars are Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th October 2024!

13th Teran Wine and Truffle festival brings numerous exhibitors, tastings of teran, truffles and various products based on teran and truffles. The Motovun's Teran Wine and Truffle Festival is synonym for quality winemakers and especially good examples of teran wine, and a meeting place for the best producers of truffle products and companies dealing with truffles. Delicious meals prepared on the basis of these two enogastronomic jewels await you, and there will be no shortage of good music!

When autumn tones dominate Istria, its landscapes are covered in hundreds of shades of yellow, orange and red. From the top of the hill, Motovun, a medieval town with a view of the Motovun Forest, the Mirna River and its stunning valley, is majestically watching this autumnal colorfulness. In October, when these two delicacies reach their highest power, the Teran Wine and Truffle Festival is held in it, which combines teran wine, the best examples of which come from the Motovun area, with the truffle - an Istrian underground treasure from the Motovun forest, without which today's gourmet kitchen would be unimaginable.
