6th Mediterranean Cup in majorette sports

After the successfully held European Championship in majorette sports at the end of June, Novigrad will host the 6th Mediterranean Cup in majorette sports for the first time. The competition will be held on October 22 and 23 in the city's sports hall. More than 1,000 talented girls will perform around 200 choreographies and there will be up to 100 performances on each day of the competition.

The hosts of the city as well as the guests will be able to enjoy the attractive performance of majorettes from Slovenia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The program also includes a parade through the streets of the old town.

Majorettes compete in three age groups - cadets, juniors and seniors - in solo, duo/trio, mini and large formations and parade categories, and in their performances, they use props: stick, pom pom, baton flag, flags and even two to three different props and stage scenery in dance.
