Istrian Spring Tour Cycling Race

The traditional international stage cycling race Istrian Spring Trophy (Croatian: Istarsko proljeće) will take place from 12 to 15 March 2026.

The 22nd edition of the popular Istrian Spring Trophy passes through all the towns of our tourist cluster. Umag, Novigrad, Brtonigla, Buje, Grožnjan, Oprtalj and Motovun will therefore have the chance to confirm northwestern Istria’s status as an ideal destination for cyclists. Participants and visitors alike will be able to appreciate the unspoilt natural beauty of Istria and the hospitality of its residents.

The Istrian Spring Trophy race is attended by teams in both professional and continental categories, including future champions and stage winners of the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a España. The race is included in the calendar of the International Cycling Union (UCI) and is famous in the cycling world for the number and quality of competitors.
