House of Kaštel hosts Night of Museums – a cultural evening in Momjan

Momjan will take part in the national Museum Night on Friday, 30 January 2026, with a series of cultural and educational events at House of Kaštel. The programme runs from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM and is open to all visitors.

The evening opens with a creative collage picture-book workshop for children aged 7 to 11, led by Nina Turina. At 8:00 PM, the documentary The History of the Counts of Rota of Momjan, directed by Nicola Gregoretti, will premiere, with repeat screenings at 11:00 PM and midnight. A talk by architect Branko Orbanić on the phased restoration of the Rota Castle (2017–2026) follows at 9:00 PM. The musical programme begins at 10:00 PM with a concert by the ensemble Violoncelli Itineranti, blending original and folk music with jazz and theatrical elements.

Throughout the evening, visitors can explore the multimedia content and the permanent exhibition of House of Kaštel, with doors open from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
