Northwestern Istria has told its story through visuals and authenticity.
The Istria County Tourist Board awarded the Northwestern Istria Cluster the Zlatna koza – Capra d’oro 2025 in the Visual Communication category for the promotional video “Where is my cat”.

The award was presented at a ceremony at the Grand Hotel Brioni in Pula, recognizing a project that doesn’t just show the destination but brings it to life. Through strong visual identity and contemporary storytelling, the video connects places, people, and the rhythm of life in northwestern Istria.

From the coast of Umag and Novigrad, through the vineyards and olive groves of Brtonigla and Buje, to the hills of Motovun, Grožnjan, and Oprtalj – each location becomes part of a shared story, alongside the Cluster’s long-term partners, Plava Laguna and Aminess Hotels & Resorts.
The Zlatna koza – Capra d’oro recognizes projects that bring new energy to Istria’s promotion, foster creativity, and create a distinctive visual language for the destination.
The award was accepted on behalf of the Cluster by Milovan Popović, director of the Umag Tourist Board and chairman of the Cluster:
“‘Where is my cat’ is the result of trust, collaboration, and the courage to tell Istria’s story differently. This award confirms our shared vision and motivates us to further develop modern, authentic communication.”

The promotional video “Where is my cat” is available on the Northwestern Istria Cluster’s YouTube channel, inviting viewers to experience Istria not just with their eyes, but with all their senses.
