Piazza Grande Music Nights / Lucio Battisti tribute

The Piazza Grande Music Nights, a summer concert series held in the square under the bell tower, brings an outstanding concert dedicated to a great musician who has left an invaluable mark. During Ferragosto week, on August 15th, a concert will be held in honor of one of the best Italian singer-songwriters – Lucio Battisti.

Italian singer Sasha Torrisi, who has been reinterpreting the great successes of Lucio Battisti with his personal and contemporary style for many years, will perform hits ranging from the lively and danceable "Dieci Ragazze" and "Un'avventura" to the more emotionally engaging songs like "E penso a te" and "Emozioni". The audience can expect an exclusive and exciting reinterpretation, without fear of confronting a true monument of Italian music. Sasha approaches Battisti's universe with elegance and style, thanks to his long collaboration with author Mogol, from whom he learned to feel the power of lyrics and melodies that remain relevant today.

The concert will start at 9 PM, and admission is free.
