The Grape Festival, Istria’s oldest celebration, has for over a hundred years brought scents, flavors, community spirit and the essence of past times to the streets of Buje, when locals gathered in families, societies and cooperatives to build and create with dedication and hard work, while also enjoying companionship, song and dance.
Over three days, the town comes alive with sports tournaments, children’s games, cultural events and evening concerts.

On Friday, September 19, the festival opens with a grape harvest, a children’s play and evening concerts by Le Giannissime and Le Monde, bringing energy and rhythm to the town squares.
Saturday, September 20, is reserved for a rich cultural program, parades, folklore and musical performances, with the evening culminating in shows by Silente and New Jersey Bon Jovi Tribute.
On Sunday, September 21, the atmosphere rounds off with workshops, exhibitions and a final concert by Klapa Cambi, while everyone eagerly gathers for the grand raffle with a prize pool of €13,800, including a top prize of €10,000.
