Recreational Cycling Ride as Part of the UCI Istria Gran Fondo!

The premiere edition of the Giro di Umago brings a relaxed ride through the peaceful surroundings of Umag, far from city crowds and traffic. The ride is ideal for families, as well as anyone who wants to enjoy cycling together without competitive pressure, as part of the UCI Istria Gran Fondo experience.

Experience the atmosphere of a major event, enjoy an easy-paced ride, and capture the moment with a group selfie at the finish as a lasting memory!

The route follows the coastline, offering beautiful views and passing through authentic Istrian landscapes. The ride is led by experienced guides who ensure everything runs safely and stress-free.

After the ride, the fun continues in the sports zone with a great accompanying program – food, drinks, a DJ, and a fantastic atmosphere, where all participants can feel the energy of the event and become part of an unforgettable cycling experience.

Important information:

• Each participant receives a starter package (pasta and drink voucher, gift gadget)

• This is not a race – there is no timekeeping

• Open to all participants aged 10 and above

• Participation is free for all under 16

• Protective equipment is mandatory (helmet required)

• The ride is guided by experienced leaders

• The ride starts at 9:00, immediately after the start of the Istria Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo races

• Recreational cyclists, families, friends, supporters of Gran Fondo participants, tourists staying in Istria, and anyone else interested are welcome to join – the ride is open to everyone who wants to be part of the event.
