European Cheerleading Championships

This summer, Novigrad-Cittanova will host the 28th European Cheerleading Championships, one of the most important international events in this dynamic and exciting sport. Cheerleading clubs and teams from across Europe will gather in Novigrad to compete, showcase their talents and strive for the prestigious European title.

The competitions will take place on 27 and 28 June at the Novigrad Sports Hall, where visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy outstanding performances combining athletic excellence, acrobatics, dance, strength and teamwork. Through energetic routines and spectacular choreography, athletes will demonstrate the precision, creativity and dedication that make cheerleading one of Europe’s fastest-growing sports.

A special highlight of the event will be the Opening Ceremony, which will take place on Friday, 26 June at 8:00 PM in Piazza Grande square. Set against the charming backdrop of Novigrad’s historic old town, the ceremony will bring together athletes, officials and visitors to celebrate the beginning of this major international sporting event.

Residents and visitors are warmly invited to support the competitors and experience the enthusiasm, energy and international spirit that will fill Novigrad throughout the championship.

Admission to the competitions on both days is free of charge.
