Shiny Umag 2025

On Saturday, 24 May 2025 at 10:00 AM, Liberty Square in Umag will once again become the starting point for the community clean-up action Shiny Umag, organized by the City of Umag and its partners as part of the European project Remedies.

This year, we’re cleaning the old town, beaches, and the seabed – with the help of volunteers of all ages and divers who will remove waste both on land and underwater. Join us in this meaningful initiative that combines environmental responsibility with community spirit!

Besides helping nature, we’re also strengthening our local community. The goal is to turn this initiative into a regular tradition – held twice a year as a symbol of environmental care and as part of a broader regional effort under the umbrella project Shiny Istria.
