The 26th International Festival Organum Histriae brings its most special program to Buje on September 20. In the parish church of St. Servulus, the Austrian female vocal ensemble Graces & Voices will perform, accompanied by Italian organist Nicola Cittadino. The audience can expect an unforgettable evening in which the blend of outstanding voices and the authentic sound of historical organs will shine in full. As with all events, admission is free.

The festival across Istria and the return of the historical sound
Organum Histriae takes place from August 22 to September 27, 2025, and is the only festival in Istria dedicated entirely to historical organs. Over the course of more than a month, it will bring seven concerts in churches and historic venues – from Motovun, through Pula, Sveti Lovreč Pazenatički and the Pula Fortress Kaštel, to the closing evening in Rovinj.
A special highlight is the return of the sound of the twelve-foot organ by Antonio Barbini from 1754 in Rovinj, after extensive restoration. The festival will also feature works by renowned builders such as Petar Nakić and Gaetano Callido, as well as contemporary organs, reaffirming its mission to connect tradition with today’s musical expression.
