12th Teran and Truffle Festival

The 13th Teran and Truffle Festival features numerous exhibitors, tastings of Teran wine, truffles, and various products based on Teran and truffles. When the autumn palette of colors takes over Istria, its landscapes shimmer in various shades of yellow, orange, and red. From the hilltop, this autumn mosaic is elegantly observed by Motovun, a medieval town that offers a view of the Motovun Forest, the Mirna River, and its enchanting valley. In October, when these two delights reach the peak of their strength, the Teran and Truffle Festival takes place, connecting Teran wine, whose finest specimens come precisely from the Motovun area, with truffles – the hidden treasure of the Motovun Forest that is indispensable for contemporary gourmet cuisine.
