Umag Trophy

Umag Trophy is a series of international football tournaments for U8 to U14 categories, taking place in Umag since 2016. It is organised by the B4SPORT CAMPS d.o.o. sports tourism agency, with the Umag Tourist Board as its official partner.

Location

Umag, a jewel of Croatian Istria on the Adriatic coast, is known for its rich tourism offer and strong sports identity. With 45 km of coastline, it is recognized as one of Croatia’s top football training destinations, where sport thrives year-round.

The Stella Maris Football Center features three natural grass pitches built to FIFA standards, an auxiliary field, and a synthetic pitch renovated in 2019. Located close to hotels, it provides excellent conditions for professional and amateur teams. Clubs such as NK Osijek, HNK Rijeka, NK Olimpija Ljubljana, NK Celje, MTK Budapest, and 1. FC Slovácko regularly train here.

Umag also offers an indoor sports hall and great facilities for tennis, cycling, and other sports, especially during the mild spring and autumn seasons.

Rewarding experience for every team

It began in 2016 with just two age categories at the Katoro pitch, still a symbolic part of the tournament. Over the years, it has grown steadily, welcoming clubs such as MTK Budapest, Crvena Zvezda, Inter, and Benfica.

Supported by the Umag Tourist Board and organized by B4 Sport Camps, the event has grown beyond sport. Each edition gathers up to 20,000 participants and visitors, featuring an opening ceremony at the Goran Ivanišević ATP Stadium, entertainment for children, live music, and a closing celebration.

Despite hosting major European clubs (Juventus, AC Milan, Barcelona, Arsenal, Benfica, Crvena Zvezda, Red Bull Salzburg, and others), Umag Trophy remains committed to its core mission: giving young players the opportunity to compete against top international teams close to home.
