"Where is my cat" – promotional video of the Northwest Istria Cluster

If you must get lost, let it be in northwestern Istria
We follow the story of a family, parents, a girl and her stuffed cat, as their journey turns into a summer adventure across Umag, Novigrad, Brtonigla, Buje, Motovun, Grožnjan and Oprtalj.
And then comes the twist! The cat goes missing.

While searching for him, the family shows us through their photographs how they spent their time in northwestern Istria – among colourful umbrellas and narrow streets, tennis courts and art galleries, tall bell towers and the flavours of both sea and land.

Nature, culture, gastronomy and family moments unfold like film frames. Each carries its own scent, colour and sound, creating an authentic portrait of northwestern Istria. Because our region offers not only the beauty of its landscape, but also a sense of belonging as you stroll along cobblestone streets, taste the wine and the sea, and feel the silence of the hills.

Behind the entire project stands the Northwest Istria Cluster, whose goal is to present a fresh, sustainable and authentic perspective of the region. In the video, emotion plays as important a role as the scenery, connecting people, places and moments into a warm human story.

“Where’s my cat” is an invitation to explore and experience. Because, just as the girl finds her cat, you too can visit northwest Istria and find your own reason to return.
